Introduction
World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Organization of the United Nations in 1945.The day is celebrated widely by many other organisations concerned with food security.It is stated thtat “Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient,
safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and
healthy life”. (World Food Summit, 1996)
